Piedmont Healthcare

The Piedmont Healthcare system includes Piedmont Macon Medical Center, a 310-bed facility providing compassionate, patient-centered care in Middle Georgia. Founded in 1971 as Coliseum Park Hospital by Hospital Corporation of America, Piedmont Macon Medical has grown to be a healthcare leader for middle Georgians.

For three consecutive years, Piedmont Macon has achieved Healthgrades: Top 5% in the Nation for Patient Safety. Additionally, Coliseum is a Level 1 Emergency Cardiac Care Center and is a Primary Stroke Center. The Breast Center is a Nationally Accredited Program for Breast Centers and has been named a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.

Piedmont Macon North Hospital is a 103-bed non-profit hospital serving northside Macon and Middle Georgia. The hospital offers expertise in a variety of specialties, including bariatric surgery, orthopedic care, spine care and gastric reflux disease.
