The project, began in the summer of 2017 and included a 152,000-square foot addition to its existing facility. The expansion added more than 100 jobs and brought total employment at the distribution center to almost 240. The Macon distribution center currently serves retail and foodservice customers in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama.
Tyson Foods invested $59 million to expand its distribution center at I-75 Business Park in Macon.
