Embraer is the third largest aircraft manufacturer in the world, and in 2018 Embraer brought more than 100 jobs to Macon.

Embraer operates out of a 155,000-square-foot facility at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport. The company performs commercial jet aircraft maintenance services. Embraer signed a three-year lease with the option to renew for three additional years. The company, based in Brazil invested about $1.6 million into the facility and for operations.

Embraer arose from the dream to transform Brazil into a country possessing the latest in technology.

From these dreams and challenges, Embraer has grown into one of the largest commercial aircraft companies in the world. By stretching the limits of what is possible, Embraer has done the unimaginable in the sectors of commercial and executive aviation, defense, and security.

An Embraer aircraft takes to the skies every ten seconds, carrying in total around 145 million passengers per year. It is the third largest commercial jets manufacturer with 18,000 employees, and more than 8000 airplanes delivered.
