Water Authority

Since its opening in 2000, the MWA’s Amerson Plant has been selected as the states best –operated “Plant of the year” by the Georgia Association of Water Professionals(GAWP) on five different occasions, which is remarkable considering facilities are not eligible for this award in consecutive years.

Aerospace

With the large concentration of aerospace related industries in the area, Middle Georgia has been dubbed Georgia’s “Aerospace Corridor”.
