Bragg Jam

The last Saturday of July is Macon, Georgia's ultimate summer music festival where, rain or shine, 80+ bands take on 20+ stages and put on one unforgettable shows after another in a jam-packed, country, rock, blues, electronic and soul-infused night.

Cherry Blossom Festival

Each March, Macon becomes a pink, cotton-spun paradise as over 350,000 Yoshino cherry trees bloom in all their glory. For 10 days, festival-lovers are treated to one of the most extravagant displays of springtime color in the nation as they visit the town referred to by Congressional Records as the Cherry Blossom Capital of the World.

Macon Beer Fest

Started in 2010, the Macon Beer Fest has grown into one of Georgia’s premier craft beer events. The event offers over 50 varieties of beer for its regular ticket holders and several additional special beers for its VIP guests. What makes the event unique, is that its purpose is to educate men about the risks of prostate cancer. You can say it’s a health fair disguised as a beer festival – It’s a party for a cause!

Macon Magnolia's Soapbox Derby

The #SecondSaturday of April brings out the competitor in everyone as teams of homemade soap box racers vie to be named the fastest or most creative car in a thrilling race down the steep hill of Magnolia Street, beside the College Hill Corridor’s beautiful Washington Park in one of Macon’s friendliest neighborhoods, InTown.

Mercer Athletics

Macon's Mercer University is the only private university in Georgia with an NCAA Division I athletic program and fields teams in eight men's and nine women's sports. The university competes in the Southern Conference for most sports.

Macon Bacon

A collegiate summer baseball team playing in the Coastal Plain League (CPL), the Macon Bacon is based in Macon and plays its home games at Luther Williams Field. The team begins play in the CPL in the 2018 season and completes in the league's East division.

 

Pan African Festival

Pan African Festival is a jam-packed Festival with activities (music, dance, food, film, art, and a Children's Corner) the entire family can enjoy. Vendors will line Cherry St. Plaza with unique items, food, and art people can purchase at our Pan African Marketplace.
