Momentum continues to build in Macon-Bibb as our industries, partners, and community achieve important milestones. From statewide recognition to local progress, here are just a few celebrations this month:

  • Coca-Cola UNITED Ambassador Program: Industry Director Eleyce Coleman joined the inaugural class, touring the local facility and learning more about the company’s history, operations, and future initiatives.
  • MGIC Manufacturing Expo & Luncheon: Students from W.S. Hutchings College and Career Academy explored hands-on exhibits, while industry leaders connected with Georgia Tech’s GaMEP team to discuss collaboration and growth.
  • GRAD Certification for Airport North Industrial Park: At the GEDA 2025 Annual Conference, MBCIA proudly received GRAD certification for Airport North Industrial Park, ensuring it is market-ready for new investment.
  • Bibb County School District Graduation Rate: For the third year in a row, Bibb County exceeded the state average with a record 88.97% graduation rate. Central, Southwest, and Rutland high schools all surpassed 90%. Read more here!
