MACON, Ga. -The Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority (MBCIA) held its monthly board meeting this afternoon. Board members received a briefing on the annual financial audit results and were pleased with the unmodified opinion given.
Chairman Sam Hart was given a plaque to recognize his service and dedication. His leadership helped generate $2.5 billion in new private investment and created 5,400 new jobs during his tenure. Celebrations and congratulations were in order as Agile Cold Storage broke ground on their Macon facility on November 3, 2022! We also celebrated Stephen Adams, MBCIA Executive Director, as he was selected as one of Georgia Trend’s Georgia 500 Most Influential Leaders.
